1. Who we are
photobook.studio prints and binds custom photo books to order. These terms apply when you use this site or place an order.
2. Your photographs stay yours
You keep every right in the images you upload. You grant us a narrow licence to store, process and print them for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your book. That licence covers nothing else (not marketing, not training any model, not sharing beyond the production partner who prints the book) and it ends when you delete the book or your account and the files are deleted.
You confirm you have the right to print what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright or contain unlawful material.
3. Made to order
Every book is manufactured specifically for you after you order, so it cannot be resold or restocked. Once production begins an order cannot be cancelled. See the refund policy for what happens if something is wrong.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you order and include everything except delivery and any tax, both of which are itemised at checkout. We do not run promotional pricing against inflated list prices. If our prices change, orders already placed are unaffected.
5. Delivery dates
Each order shows an estimated delivery window, calculated from our production partners' printing times and the carrier's transit times. It is an estimate, not a guaranteed date. If your book has not arrived by the end of the window, contact us: we will trace it, and if it is lost in transit we will reprint it or refund you. Delays caused by an incorrect address you supplied are excluded.
6. Print quality and the resolution gate
We measure every uploaded image against the trim size you chose and warn you about anything that will print softly. Where a photograph is unprintable we block checkout entirely. If you proceed past a warning we have shown you, the resulting softness is not a defect we will reprint for: although we will usually help anyway.
7. Contributed photos
If you enable a share link, anyone with it can add photographs to your book. You are responsible for what ends up in a book you order, including contributions. Contributors can be prevented from adding more at any time by turning the link off.
8. Your account and your files
You may download a print-ready PDF of any book you have made, free, whether or not you ordered it. If you delete your account, your books and photographs are deleted with it and cannot be recovered.
9. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, plus a reprint. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
11. Who operates this site
This site is operated by the company named above. These terms are an agreement between you and that company, and “we”, “us” and “our” mean it throughout.
